WHAT??? since when has GTA been about realism, hopefully they will realise the error of their ways and add aircrafts in the downloadable content later

 

I thought that two but just haven't said anything. People would start protesting saying it is a game for terrist or they may start saying that anyway.

I don't think that thay will do that. I would say that the downloadable content is going to be mostly videos and maybe a few other things.

 

well im sure flying in a high definition city would look ugly with the ram constraisnts, and the fact the gpus are not as great as we were told. if there were planes, it would make the net gen look bad. thats not something they want.

 

I downloaded the trailer from the sony store it look great on my 42" tv

 

The game map is completely new, and mirrors NYC vary closely not like in GTA 3.

The rumor of no aircraft has been disproved, their will be helicopters, but no planes.

It is set in 2007.

I am glad that there is going to be helicopters in the game. Is “Flying is still very much a large part of the game.” a hint that other types of flying things will be in the game like the jet pack.

That sounds very cool. I hope that they put other little things like this in the game to make it better. Or not better just much funner to play. If anyone finds a video of Niko breaking a window of the car to get in, post the link here.

I don't know if this has been said already but is GTA IV going to be a BlueRay game. I would think so just from what I have seen of the game.

 

Of course its a Bluray game (PS3 version) ALL PS3 games are and will always be on Blu-ray even if they can fit on a DVD (as heaps so far can but arent).
I would recommend reading the Q&A on page 10 http://www.ottae.com/images/iv/10.jpg about what they say in relation to Blu-ray seems very interesting to me.

 

SO what format dose xbox 360 use? just regular dvd like on the ps2???

 

Yes, Dual Layer DVD's just like PS2 (only a few ps2 games), Xbox 1 and I'm pretty sure the Wii uses them (or will use them) as well.

 

i was reading the magazine article about the interview with rockstar, and they said they are finding it difficult making the same game on differnt consoles. To be honest i belive they should still make it an ps3 exclusive with it coming out on xbox360 a bit later on, this will help them figure out a way to make it fit on a dual layer dvd

 

release date of this game is set for mid october...but who knows, lets just hope it doesn't get stretched.

 

They say there having trouble making the same game on different consoles. Sounds like to me the game must be pretty big. Probably about 15GB or so. That must be why they are having problems getting the game on different consoles. As for the release date I got a feeling that it is going to be moved up probably a week or two.

The graphics seem really good for a free roaming game.

I've had the game preordered since February lol!

 

All the images are from the Xbox 360 game. PS3 should be the same if not better.
