What we can level up in online multplayer?

I did not know that, I just log on, kill people and get killed then log off without saving. So I'm guessin that I should really save if levels are involved

I had noticed that some people kill me really easily when I have already flled them with 6 bullets! So i'm guessing it is becuase of levels then. At first I though it was that they were really good at aiming and killing me quickly with headshots.

 

No, they just have more experience playing, hence why they've got 6 stars. The only thing you unlock online is more clothing for your online character to the best of my knowledge.

 

that doesnt sound right i will attack from behind load them up with my m4 they turn around and i am pretty much dead i am not half bad at all but when a lvl 6 or 8 get in the game we all get worked plus its auto aim so your always on target how do you explain that

 

Bullet lag?

 

It all comes down to experience, knowing the maps and all. Plus they will be used to raising the target up a little to get that head-shot even while auto aiming. Maybe they also know where to get armour and bigger guns on each map so they are always well prepared?

 

I'm gonna start online very soon. I'm looking forward to it since the modes sound like a lot of fun.

I've completed the story but I'm also gonna do all the other choices (since I have a game save from my brother's campaign that I never saved over).

 

Guys this game is driving me crazy. I've brought it since the release date but i havn't even broken the seal because of my exams. My last exam is next week, i just can't handle it any more. Some1 please help. Some1 tell me this game is crap.

i know all that too i useually play prison so i know it like the back of my hand i know where all the good weapons are sorry i am not too sure i can be convinced due to the fact the only ones that can kick my ass is the ones that are like 3 lvls above me

 

I too have been pretty obsessed with this game probably playing for a total of 70 hours. and its not crap but its certainly not a 10. i give it like a 9.5 - 9.7 it's amazing. i say quit school and play this game.

 

lol i made a mistake buying it. The fact that i have it in my possession and its unopened isn't helping. I should have brought it when i finished my exams.

 

Just finished the game. I have about $440,000 left. What does everyone else have.

I spent over $350,000 on weapons alone.

I think I'm at $604,xxx. I was about 55-60 hours in by the time I completed the story. I haven't gone back to do all the side stuff (find all the flying rats, play the arcade games, beat all the friends in the game activities etc.).

I've just started the online though. It's so much fun! I love the cops n' crooks and the team deathmatch.

It's really funny staring down a set of headlights as the car is speeding towards you and then you blast the driver in the head splattering his blood on the windshield...and then his car, with his head on the steering wheel, crushes you against the wall as it slams into you. Fun times!

Just outta curiosity for every non-NYC GTA IVer, have you ever heard of the term "flying rats" before this game? Did you know it referred to a pigeon? It's a possible NYC term. I was wondering if other major cities referred to their (annoying) pigeons as flying rats. I doubt it though.

 

Yeah I've heard the term flying rats before, I think I heard it off of dirty jobs.

 

I have a question. How can you view the pictures you took with the in-game cell phone?

 

I've been trying to figure that out for agez!

 

How do you host a multiplayer game?

I use the cell phone and then click on team deathmatch but it allways joins me to an existing game.

This is frustrating cos i dont even know where the game is being hosted and what the latency is.

also i wanna host and make those rocket launcher only games

 

Well here we have 2 definitions for the term "Flying rats"

The first is referred to bats. As bats are like the only mammal with wings and fly, and are furry, people call them flying rats.

The second is, as you've pointed out, referred to pigeons. This is because many people see pigeons as pests, just like rats.
