Official Halo 3 Chat

lol..sorry about the triple post but my computer started acting up on me and didnt want to respond. anyway it would be nice to have a prequel trillogy of the Halo series if possible.

They will most likely just start up another game, that will present even more questions. Remember Myth? Well that is just Halo as we know it except with different mysteries etc. So there will be another "Halo" but not called Halo. I doubt that there will be a prequel either. Doesnt make sense to have a prequel after the main story has been presented to the world. It makes more sense to make another game that could answer some questions on peoples minds.

 

what about resident evil or metal gear solid because they had prequels after the main story

 

Yes, but this is Halo we are talking about, and Bungie. If people want to know about the time before the games, they should read the books.

 

maybe they will make the books then put it as a game like starwars

 

first they have to make the books into movies

 

Yeah, but that isnt Bungie. So it wont affect anything in the games.

Not so long ago I actually heard a rumor on gamespot of a posible forruner game. Ive even heard this on other forrums. oh well guess Ill wait and see.

Since it looks as though the Ps3 is going to be delayed in many countries other than the US and Japan untill March 2007. Do you guys think that Bill Gates will get his chance to counter the launch with Halo 3 since now its seems like a possibility.

Boy, wouldnt it be a low blow to sony if microsoft countered their launch of the Ps3 in the US with Gears of War, and then counter Sony again once they launch the PS3 in other countries in 2007 with Halo 3.

By any chance do you read the Bungie forums in the Halo 3 section, because they was discussed only a few hours ago.
Nevertheless, I think that Bungie will release Halo 3 around the time of the PS3 (if it is delayed). But i dont think we can go so far as to say that it is going to be a "on the day release" of the PS3 but it will probably be quite close (March-time)

 

By the way cyborg234, there isnt an exact date but Halo 3 is suppose to come out sometime in 2007. hehe..looks like Im a little late again since I dont read the Bungie forrums (I never find useful info). Soooo, when is X06?

This forum just keeps going and going but anyway I wonder if they would change the chiefs appearance in the actually game because in the trailer he looks da same but different in some way not just in the graphics but in his suit

 

Yeah he has a different suit on. This can be seen from his hands. If you look at the dimples on Halo 2 you will see there are more than in the trailer, proving that this is more than just graphics at work.
He will most likely get a different suit. Since he was in a forerunner structure at the end of Halo 2, it is quite likely to assume that it also has the suit that 343 mentioned in halo 1. (cant remember what mark it was). So maybe that is the suit that he uses in halo 3.
