the bxr=you hit somebody and then after the hit is given quickely press x, then in then right after that hit r to shoot

why:in the game you are able to reload DIRECTLY after you melee, and you are able to shoot DIRECTLY in the middle of reloading, so when you go to reload and hit R the game skips the reloading process for you to shoot, but reloading also makes the game forget the puase in between the melee and the firing...
sorry if this isnt very clear.

 

So if that thing wasn't in the game, we would fall through the level? Dude, they should keep the jumpd 'cause that makes it a crap load more fun.

 

alright, i know that i should know this but could someone fill me in on bxr and rxr

 

now i feel really dumb because i seem to have skimmed over the reply about the bxr. but i still don't understand rxr.

 

BXR is when u have a battle rifle,carbon,or pistol with a full clip dosent mater about the ammo....so then B-Melee -X-to cancel -R-To shot..

This takes out your opponent vey quick just when your ganna BXR make sure to do it in the head..

RXR-WTF?-unless u mean RRX YY RRX-Double SHOts

also try BXB

this is a fast way to beat down someone..but u cant have a full clip u must have fired at leat one shot

 

I thought that X cancels the hit, that's what makes the Butterfly Jump and the Lunge-Cancel work.

In 2007 Bungie is putting the beta version of halo 3 multiplayer on xbox live to see what we all think of it.

I still say da rxr or whatever is still too complicated especially when in the middle of a fire fight and if u mess up ur dead so I think rxr is a waist of time unless u took the time to master it and still theres a chance that u would mess up.
In ranked games i think the super jump shouldn't be used cause i don't know how to do one and really don't care it just gave players who cant really play a unfair advantage when there on top of high buildings and a better sniping position than everyone else and a better sight of the field.

 

Anyone see the new Halo 3 Ad during the football game. I thought it was pretty cool how there was some shield grenade generator.

 

Yeah. It was great. For anyone that does know, I will compile all the things I noticed:
It takes place BEFORE the E3 trailer. It is also ON earth throughout (but except for the flash back at least).
The pistol is coming back. A new Temp Sheild generator device is introduced. Wraiths are upgraded.
Brutes have new armour. There is a new Alpha Brute with Hammer, just like Tartarus. The MC has been thrown out of a warthog, and presume dead, until he radios in.
The "jump" part of the trailer shows you just next to where the E3 trailer was captured.
Wraiths appear to fire higher, and have a larger and more powerful blast radius.
There is speculation that the chief will be able to sprint, and (NO THAT IS NOT WHAT THE X BUTTON IS FOR!, incase you were thinking that. The X button is also not used to use the sheild generator.
The two humans at the beginning are supposedly, the MC and Cassandra (boy, girl) (MC on the right, and Cassandra on the left, if looking from above shot).
It appears to me that the temp sheild is deactivated prematurely when it is shot at from the inside.
Thats all I can think of. I will post more info if i forgot any.

 

I got to say.....Damn I loved that video. Looks like more of the books info on the Chiefs life will be shown in the game. hehehe I loved the grenade shield.

Remember its not a grenade, as it didnt blow up. Its a disposable device however.

 

hey u no the new ad for halo 3 right? Did u guys notice the begining?That might have been chief as a little kid. And he didint have a helmet on!And that girl , what if shes the robot chick{i forgot her name]that always talks to u and is in ur head?Maybe shes stuck in the computer like tron or somethin!I hope i dont sound stupid, I forgot her name and i never read any halo books so i dont know much about her but its a possibility right?And diid u notice the new covenant at the last scene?They looked like hunters but had an ax or big hammer or somethin. I hope u guys saw the new preview on monday night football , it was really good!

 

i recorded it too, Its not on the net yet.I did it on a vhs tape so i cant upload it though, sorry.And also , the last scene, the other people besides that coveneant thing , they looked like the spartans or soldiers from the halo wars preview!!!

 

Has anyone heard in the video found on youtube of the H3 Ad, near the 27 second mark when MC stands up you hear I believe Kelly's child voice say "time to go" just before he looks up at the gun?

 

@scamino1 I think you mean cortana but that would be impossible since shes an AI and she never was a human oh and the fellas in the last scene are brutes wearing a different type of armour
The chick at the start with the mc is most likely one of the girl spartans

 

Thats because he was still remembering his past.

We hear the girl at the start say "Time to go" and Cortana say "Cheif, leave me!". He was just remembering past events until he snapped back to reality.
