Official Halo 3 Chat

I personally dont think they should release a Halo 4. I think they should have ended it at the end of Halo 2 to be honest. A Halo 4 would be rediculous; its already dragging and if their attemps of Halo 3 are similar to what it was like in Halo 2 i wouldnt in a million years want a Halo 4.
The only reason i would like a Halo 4 is if the story was a prequel to Halo 1.

 

bungie coulda finished it with halo 2 but i think they wanted to give the players a feel of what they really wanted it to look like so they decided to make the end of it on xbox 360 bc of the amount of power it has. Personally i think they definitly shoulda finished with halo 2.

 

hey didnt bungie change the story line of halo 2 cause the original lines leaked out or something cause i think thats wat someone said way back when that dude came on the forum and said he had the halo 3 story lines and apparently it was just the original story lines for halo 2 (where it actually finished)

i would like a halo 3 just so they could improve on some little details we would like and maybe put some bota in on the multiplayer

ok well i think there would be an expansion pack for halo 3, kinda like that mulitiplayer map pack for halo 2.

i think that this is a good place to stop and change gears and go to the books or just make halo 3 have bots smart as hell bots i hate halos ai they suck. and in muit player you should be able to change guy more like be Spartans and Black if you want be a ODST a Marin or switch to the cov side be a Elite or grunt or jackle or drone or hunter honor guards brute if you want you should be able to use any car plane ship hell even bike in front of you. more realistic would be nice like if i get shot in the foot by a sniper rifle i dont wana die maybe have my foot get battle damage and i hoble that whould be sweet battle damage realistic damage. halo is missing that if i get hit with a rocket i dont think i would just fall over thats gay you get smashed with a pistal whip i want a dent in my armor just so i can kill 100 more people and look so cool doing it and get more levels like out skirts go any where do any thing just have like a river or a water fall moutan or some thing to stop you from going any where and if you get in a ship and fly away or to high it will say leveing the battle feild or some thing and you will sit out 10 secs and it will show your guy turn around and come back. well i know i suck at spelling and thx for reading this tell me what you think oh and who would win Spartan or a Predator ? there both so cool but i got my money on the Predator

i kinda agree on where you said ai sucks, but i totaly dont agree on being able to be a grunt brute marine jackle, these characters arnt that good to play with, of brutes are slow, grunts well they r weird, marine, they are so weak, jackle- hell no,

and i would defenatly think sparten would win if he had a battle rifle but in unarmed combact predetor totaly rules.

Yes, I have noticed this for over 4 years. I guess people just dont like hearing things that are bad and can be true.

spartan36, i like your ideas for the expansions of levels. i would like to see them more like medal of honor or delta force blackhawk down or something like that in turms of size. as for using everything in the game i think that would great. i would love to see master chief be able to use a knife in the game. as for some one stated earlier that halo 4 should be a prelude to halo one, i think that is a great idea. that would also, i mean i would love to have the battle of the space platform form the books that would be sweet, or the battle on reach where there down in that chamber ande they find the new weapons that are used in halo 2. i would also like to see more urban style combat areas, you know city to city or house to house clearing would be awsome on reach. well these are just some more of my thinkings of what we should want from this game.

 

Personally I would hate to see something like a knife to be used by the MC. Halo is a futuristic game, it’s not set in a time where a knife would be used to combat something like The Flood or The Covenant. A knife is a fairly ineffective weapon in comparison to a SMG or a Battle Rifle. It would be a joke if they even thought about something like that.
However I do like your ideas about the city environments.

 

papa_face have u even read the halo books they use the knife so much in there for stealth kills and stuff i would love to see the knife in the game like when u run out of ammo u could whip out the knife and go on a ramapage spartan style and what are u fellas talking about a game for the fall of reach there are like the parts in the book that u could play the rest is just story and space fights in wouldnt make a very good game but i would love to play those fight scenes

 

Yes I have read the books, and I'm aware that they use the knife a lot throughtout them. However using a knife on the game is a little different. The game isnt about stealth so there is no need for such an ineffective weapon. Using a knife against the flood or the covenant in battle would be practically useless as they'd probably kill you before you even got a chance to use it.

 

well have u ever used ur mellee attack on a covenant (you never use them on flood cause it dont work anyway) well a knife would be a whole lot easy to kill stuff with and wat do u mean halo isnt about stealth have u ever played it on legendary u cant go in killing everything u have to sneak around kill one at a time until they are all gone. i was playin halo yesterday the contol room level and i cleaned out an entire room of covenant (mostly sleeping grunts) with out firing a single shot i knife would of bin nicce to have though

 

Has anyone ever noticed there is hardly no weather while you are on a planet and there would be snow on the ground but it never snowed. I Would like a level where it had blinding rain or snow and have wind that would make it challenging to snipe opponents because you would have to adjust at the right angle

So from what you are saying, you just want the knife to play around with. We'll just have to agree to disagree, after all there is no real answer

 

a knife would only be good if you could use it with a weapon and melee/fire at the same time
