Official Halo 3 Chat

hmm tha would be quite cool i suppose. i think there just saying its going to be the last halo but i dont think it will.
when they first made halo: combat evolved they said it was the first of 5 chapters.

 

Well it definatly wont be the end of "Halo" and the next 2 books are coming out before Halo 3, so it should leave some questions.

 

im sorry but i find it funny that they have books on halo. what are the books about? if there like comics id get them and read them.

but after halo 3 there will be more halo games they wouldnt just let a majour brand that takes in so much money.

 

The books were around before the games. They are the games but in a lot more detail (talking about events before and after certain events in the games)

Yeah, they do. But its not really a comic book, its more of a graphics novel.

ya thats fine as long as the idea was identified and people have knowledge on it.

In Halo3 I want to see new aliens,alot more new guns cause finishing halo 1 and making it half way through halo 2 it started geting boring shooting the same stuff with the same weapons

 

yeah, they got so old. they weapons need a total overhaul in looks and compatability and they need atleast 6 more total.

 

i think i A LONG story line would be great
like a 2 disk or a big one disk.

Halo 3 should in theory be on more than one disk.

By the way it will be impossible to put a game of Halo 3's caliber (excellent graphics etc) and a LONG story line onto on disk because they only hold 9gb. Unless you are going to take into consideration the HD drive that is coming to the 360, but not everyone will have one.

If you take Halo 2 LE for example it had 2 disks, the same kind of packaging technique could be used for Halo 3. There has been rumours that it will be on 3 or 4 disks since it is the last in the trilogy, and they have to take into consideration the immense graphics that the 360 has.

i'm sure it will be on one, bungie never seems to care to make it any longer than needed.

 

How do you know that?
There have only been 2 games, and in Halo 2 we definatly needed more levels.
If you mean time as in how long they worked on it. For Halo 2 they only spent 9 months on it out of 2-3 years because they messed around playing games and going on holiday when they were supposed to be doing Halo 2.

 

any you think they are going to do alot better? im sure if it sucks people will be all "omgomgomg halo 3 pwnz ubern00bz0rz" regardless of gameplay because its a series they know, theres the mc, and the graphics will be nice.

 

They have been working on Halo 3 since the release of Halo 2 so hopefully Halo 3 will be cool.
