I was Wondering if there were any converters to change .ogm to something like .avi, MPEG, MPEG-4, or something like that. or even a wmv file will help Thanks
Sure. The video you can simply demux to avi, the audio could be mp3, aac or AC3, in which case you could simply remux that to avi to. If it is vorbis though you can't. If the video is XviD or another MPEG4 codec and the audio is aac, vorbis or mp3 then you could remux the whole lot to mp4. It really depends what is in it.
but (call me a noob if you want) how would you do that like what program would work and that would be great if a simple converter that can read the .ogm file can convert it to another file.
VirtualDubMod can open ogm files. ogmdemuxer can demux streams. mencoder can remux to avi whilst re-encoding the audio is necessary. mp4box and a modified version of mp4creator can mux mpeg4 video and vorbis (as a private stream) to mp4.
