ogm

    I have some shows in ogm format. what program can i use to author and burn these files to dvd?

    With all due respect to guyrus, what was stated would certainly work, however a better solution for a higher quality output, IMHO would be to get the ogm tools, specifically in this case, OGMDemux, to extract the OGM to the elementary streams, and then use your favorite MPEG encoder to encode the to DVD compliant MPEG and then burn using your author program.     Yes the above method would get you higher quality. However, I have been finding out that 2-pass VBR does not give you higher quality unless if you are encoding the movie only. If there are credits, use only 1-pass VBR. 2-pass would allocate too much bitrate to the credits because the encoder sees it as constant high motion.
