So... I decided I hated the evox menu layout.
I changed it, (i have programming background, so I understand the simplistic methods of how this menu system works) and then it just stuck me in the games folder for root. woops. So I basically made a mistake.

Now my menu has the following:
    MS Dashboard (does not work)
    Reboot
    Power Off
    Settings
    Backup

now, I accidentally clicked backup when i wanted to go to settings, and it displayed "backing up :)" adn i quickly quit it (Knowing computers, quitting would not help me anyways =\)

So I have the original backup up evox.ini on my desktop computer. But the problem is, I can't FTP my box now!

How does one get around this...?

download the slayer 2.7 iso from a bit torrent site.. then put it in your xbox and try getting it back to normal that way...but im sure your backup of the original dash is gone so you might be screwed on that but at least your mod will be their and it should get you back onto ur ftp.. i hope everything works out..

Also... Turns out I can FTP my xbox... I edited some settings in the evox dash, but I cant download from it, or put files on it =\ (FireFTP)

So I tried another program and it didnt work. (Linux Command line FTP)

So I tried yet another (gFTP), That completely failed me in the past, and it worked =\. I uploaded my backup and its all good now.

why the hell are FTP programs so screwed up!?
wish i could get ssh on this thing or something :S
