Oh No! i deleted audio drivers! HELP

    I was on my g/f laptop and she was complaining about space so i went into ad remove programs and removed a huge one which i though was her audio player that came with the laptop but it wasent after that real player wouldent play music it said there was no hardware!!

    she doesent remember what it was called nor do i, all i remember is that it had a blue crab like logo!

    how do i fix it?! i feel really bad

    can i download another driver?

    If the laptop is running windows xp then there should be a restore point somewhere before the audio drivers were deleted, and you can use system restore to go back to that point which will restore the audio drivers. If for some reason this is not an option, then you need to go to the manufacturers website (laptop manufacturer) and look for the support section, which should have a downloads page, then from there it should be as simple as redownloading the driver from there. In either case you may want to consider the second option to ensure that you have an updated driver, and there may be a smaller driver only package that you can get to save the hard drive space, instead of installing the driver plus the utilities that come with the driver.
