us0.36 is about average for taiyo yudens (+R 8x). Sony discs typically cost more than that (sometimes as much as us39.95 for a 50pk.). So, yeah, you got a good deal.

I got some sony yuden000-T02- +8x for $15 a 50 pack spindle at staples. This sale was over today. That's $45 for 150 of them- or 30 cents each. Actually, I got them for $36 after using the staple's ink cartridge vouchers.

I've never seen 75 pack spindles.
Did one of those spindles get a mix of japanese and taiwanes media?

Or are they 3, 50 pack spindles?

    36 2/3 cents each is a little high, but not a rip-off

Personally, I NEVER pay more than 30 cents apiece nowadays for media ... I can always find Verbs at that price AND

@ BurningAs .. first off, have you tried a fire extinguisher?
secondly, if you replace my Sony Tv, along with the rest of my Sony equiptment, I'll gladly let you smadh it ...

TY DVD+R 8X runs near the 40 cent mark delivered from SuperMediaStore.com so I feel it's a good deal for TY media.

ScubaBud, including "Ground" shipping to Florida, the cheapest the 8x TYs can get from supermediastore.com is us0.53/disc.

    That's -really- bad.

Jallan, SuperMediaStore.com has sales all the time, just like sales listed here. I have purchased them for that as well.

I know I know, they were us20/50pk+sh for a while and I'm sure they were even less at times. Currently, I believe rima.com still has them for us20/50pk+us5.50sh.

Does rima have the current best deal for T02s (after shipping)?

I looked up my last batch from Supermediastore and delivered was around 45 cents a piece.

sounds like that to me too, i have never seen a "75-pack" spindle before, so, it MUST be a re-pack as catfreak suggested...weird.

    25-pack, 50-pack, 100-pack..but never right in between..interesting concept though...

    docTY~

Leave it to the Walton's to wrap together a 50 and a 25 pack ...

    Crazy rich so and so's

You know, back in his day old Sam was known to wear mis-matched socks because he was too darn cheap to use water at his house to do laundry until they had enough to do a bunch of loads (recycling the wash water in a laundry tub, and using it for all the loads) only using fresh water for the final rinse ...

... hey, some smart guy once said that!

Sam's Club in Sunrise (just west of Ft. Lauderdale) had the 50-pack + 25-pack bundle of Sony +Rs as well. All the 50-packs that I looked at were labeled MIJs. I did notice that the 25-pack label was obscured by the bundle wrap so that's how they sneaked in the MITs I guess. I'll look in a couple of other stores to see if they are also bundled that way when I get a chance.

ScubaBud, I'm actually living on the West Coast below Venice this time of the year. I was in your area hosting some Canadian friends who had flown down to escape the -20C weather at home. Last year was Orlando. They wanted to do the Everglades and Keys this year, so what better place than Ft. L for a staging area! :)
