ok im trying to ftp to my xbox i went out and bought a cross over cable since im going straight from pc to xbox i got flash FXP i have tried all the damn ip adresses on my comp i went to command prompt typed in ipconfig/all 2 different ip adresses came up ive tried both with no luck both time please help if u have any suggestions i have a softmodded xbox with unleashx dash
Ok follow this and you should bebale to connect. Connect the crossover cable from Comp to Xbox Ethernet Settings on computerIf you have more then 1 Ethernet card make sure your setting these settings on the correct card) IP 192.168.0.2 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 Xbox settingsset it as static ip setting) IP 192.168.0.3 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1 Now open up Flash FXP and use Xbox ip 192.168.0.3 to connect to Xbox.
If your using WIndows XP Start/ControlPanel/ choose network conections in control panel. Now double click on the conection your using for the Xbox FTP. If you have 1 NIC card you should just have 1 connection. Now a window should pop up for the NIC settings for the card. Now along the botem click on the button that says properties. Now double click on Internal Protocol(TCP/IP) Now choose to [bold]Use folowing IP address[/bold] and enter the information i told you to enter above. Then click ok and go out of the settings.
