Is there any burning program out there that wont burn my DVD perfect until the last 5 minutes and stuffs it up. Does this just happen with every program or is it just the one Im using. The DVD plays through fine but in the last 5-10 minutes it skips ans stops. This is the case with all of my 58 burnt DVD's.

If your using cheap media the dye is thinner on the outer edge so when your movie is 5 minutes from being over, thats where the thin dye comes into play.
Don't scrimp on media,go with Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

    Your Welcome.
I take it by that response, that you were using cheap media.
If you bought a bunch of cheap stuff, you can try shrinking your target size a bit, so you don't write on the outer edge.

Well I bought them from a computer wholesale shop. 50 on a spindle that equates to 87 cents each. I just went for value rather that quality.

If you live in the states, you can get quality media for around 40 dollars a hundred,at best buy.

also if the media is good like mentioned you could also back off from burning to the end of disc, if you use dvd shrnik set it to 4300.

It is a very simple program, it does not give you very may options at all, just download speed, looks like I'll need another app.

    hi

are you going dvd original to dvdr?

also load the files to dvd shrink and set options to 4300 then hit backup button. it can output/burn with nero engine or dvd decryptor engine...

    Hey, DownUnder.

Try using DVD Decrypter - it's free - along with Shrink (Decrypter to rip, Shrink to make it all fit, Decrypter to do the burn). Another trick with cheap media (besides staying away from the edge) is to burn at slower speeds. Try 4x or even 2x. Unfortunately, cheap media also tends to become unreadable over a shorter period of time than the better quality stuff.

And with all media try to keep your compression above 70%.
