ok this is annoying

    hi,im not exactly new to ps2 game burning,but i have recently bought 10 SONY DVD-R 16x,and i have tried to make a backup of my game for ps2 'just cause'with multiple programs like stomp record max,nero,dvd decrypter,alchohol 120% etc and each one will not work,keep in mind the just cause file is iso,i have never had this problem with the other discs i use,its only been with these SONY DVD-Rs,could anyone point me in the right direction please?thanks.

    With the wide range of disc manufacturers and countries of origin, obviously not all discs are created equal. Add to that all the different players. If you have media that works why not stick with it?

    Yes, probably the new profile of the discs. When did you purchase your PS2? I would recommend you go with Ridata 8x DVD-R's, never caused me any problems, or you could try Verbatim.

    MIght want to make sure that your firmware is current as well.

    Don't buy sony disc or burnners they have it out for use they try harder than any one to block coping any thing but data and home movies
