Did any of you guys/gals see E3? If you did you would have wet your pants in knowing that Nintendo kicked PS3 but and 360 but 2. They had like the best show ever, even massive PS2/3 fanboys were depressed at the PS3 coz SONY copied Nintendo agine. i have to agree that ps3 got its ass wooped by nintendo, for sure, but xbox 360 only really could show one thing off and that was games, and personally i think they did that well. but yeah you are correct when saying nintendo sure came out of the blocks fast this e3, they only showed about 5 games but those games are awesome and they are must haves for me.
totaly im gunna go for most if not all the games that come out first now lol, and im gunna buy a Rome II Samsung and setup my Wii that way plus my 360, so i can watch DVD's and connect24. I really can't wait now.

It was like watching Gay Spider-man hop and dance in the air. PS3? Interested me not one BIT. even Final Fantasy bored me.
xbox 360 had more than thet, they had, crackdown, gears of war, shadowrun, halo 3, too human at a tone of others io can not rememeber right now.
wii looked cool man.I think the graphics could have been better though when compared to 360 and ps3 I'm not saying they sucked, just didn't blow me away.But at the same time most of the games I saw were sort of cartoon or kiddy and not like real human's.So we'll see ...it's still a long way off.
This forum is so negative because there are lots of PS3 fan boys who can not accept that the Wii is doing a better job so far! I am in the tech term a xbox fan boy but i can accept that the Wii looks bloody cool and won E3 for sure. In my personal oppinion PS3 is coming out in last place. Dont ask me if the Wii will beat the 360 because i am a microsoft boy and i will have a biast oppinion.
o sorry I was just speaking of the cartoon like graphics rather than looking like real human being's.But I should say as I tryed to earlier that this system kicks a$$.I think It will have the power and will have games that look like humans too. Unfortunately I don't really know the specs of the system so I couldn't say.Certainly everyone in this thread seems to be looking forward to wii despite that we all like some other system's too, which can't be bad for nintendo.
yes i agree the Wii killed the PS3 but everyone focused on the PS3 more instead but i watched stuff about the Wii
Well I own all three current Gen consoles (Cube, PS2 and Xbox) and really the only thing that would cause any bias towards any one of those machines comes simply down to one thing - the games that they each have to offer. I thought graphically all the new consoles looked great - and i can see what you're getting at Tycobb; Nintendo have always been a bit more cartoony - and having said that [bold]games[/bold] maketh the system, I think Wii might prove me wrong. Now Nintendo might have quite an edge through another aspect; their controller - think about it... A fishing game (I bet there will be a Mario one lol) like Bass hunter or some sh*t is released - on the PS3 and Xbox 360, it'll just be another game, but on Wii it will be a completely different experience. Instead of hitting the Square or Circle buttons, or using the Left or Right Triggers, you'll be able to cast the line and reel it in!! (Basically the same premise as seen in the Zelda game at E3) By the way although the PS3 controller has 'motion sensing technology' I'm convinced it was a last minute decision to try and bury Nintendo (or take the sting out of some of the Wii's hype).
Yeah, I don't get why people are being so negative about the Wii. Nintendo should get madd props for being innovative, rather than having the same old type of game console that just has people sitting down and pushing buttons. And it's even sweeter since it's supposedly going less than $250, according to engagadget (http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/25/wii-pricing-250-or-less/)
Yeah the price has really surprised me - i know Nintendo were gonna release it nice and cheap, but $295 Australian is crazy! I thought it would at least be $400 Australian. If they keep this price I'm gonna get the Wii first out of the three next gen consoles... That they should - Nintendo must be the most innovative company to date. Their controllers for the N64 and GC were pretty daring (along with the drum control in that DK game lol) and now they've gone and introduced motion sensing technology. I guess Sony were thinking the same thing considering their introduction of EyeToy, and the use of the Microphone's in Singstar Karaoke and to a lesser extent the Guitar peripheral for Guitar Hero (but it was already in the arcades anyway).
i would love to get a wii but 1 BIG problem it's launching with ps3 everyones money will be gone and there will be no room for the wii. also there will be som much hype on ps3 the wii will be lost in the backround.
actually as timmy1970 just mentioned It will be alot cheaper than most of us expected.It's rumored(may not be a rumor anymore)to cost about $250 here in the states. The price reflects from it not having hd,dvd,and lesser power than the other two.But that's what lots of us want a pure game console not an entertainment center.
It's actually closer to $220 US dollars (25000 yen conversion on www.xe.com) - Let the good times roll lol!!
