old ds super card

    my kids have got a old supercard i bought about 8mths ago and i was just wondering if the firmware needs up dating or something because some of the roms dont work they say no data found any ideas thanks

    I would assume yes, the newer firmwares usually account for newer games... Additionally - as long as you've flashed your DS with the flashme.nds firmware then you shouldn't have a problem playing .nds roms from your supercard.

    when u say the flashme.nds firmware do u mean the msforsc and scshell folders m8 thanks

    Sorry I'm not even sure what those are - What I'm referring to is the following...


    As long as you have a Slot-1 card, i.e. DS1, Simply DS3, or the R4, etc
    You can put the flashme.ds on your supercard, using the supercard software.

    After you have followed the directions from the URL above put both cards in, it should boot to Slot-1 first, then from the Slot-1 selection screen (I'm only familiar with the Simply DS3) boot to slot 2, then highlight the flashme.ds firmware and execute it, follow the instructions and away it goes.

    You should now be able to play DS Roms(homebrew of course ;) ) from your Slot-2 Supercard.

    but going back to your original question - YES you should flash to the latest Supercard firmware version...
