old mediabox and new card will they work together

    hi folks Im with NThell and am subscribed to sky sports & digi max package,I recently got an old mediabox from a mate just wondering if their is a way to use my current card so I can record with it. ie is their any way I can get it working with my current subscription or do I need to get a new NTL dvr from them ?

    the card and the box are paired mate as far as I am aware, so it wont work, ya prob need a DVR from them
