You probably couldnt find it on Limewire cause you spelled it wrong. Its OREGON TRAIL not Organ Trail. Look on Limewire again. They have the first one and then there is Oregon Trail Delux. The first one is about 10 mb. Good Luck

Abandonware sites like Romero listed is where you need to look.

Abandonware is copyrighted software that the author no longer enforces the copyright. They are not sold in stores or available to buy even if you want to. Many of the companies are out of business so there is not even anyone to contact if you want to build on their ideas, or create a modern version.

With the current state of US copyright law being ridiculously long, those sites are kind of a grey area. The original copyright term was for 14 years, but it has been extended several times until it is now over 95 years, or 70 years after the authors death. How many games do you play that are over 14 years old, the original copyright term? How many people will even have a 386 to play them on in 95 years when the copyright expires? What we have now is nothing but corporate welfare, works that should be in the public domain available for everyone to use are locked up in corporate vaults, even if they generate no revenue. A good idea that Lawrence Lessig proposed was to require the copyright owner to pay a modest yearly fee for every work they wanted to keep out of the public domain. If the copyright owner doesn't even consider it worth a small fee to retain the copyright, it should be released to the public domain.
