Yes, before there was swap discs and and Dms/3/4/5 there was the orignal "No Solder ModChip" the bad part about this chip is you still have to do a swap method(gameshark, action replay etc. etc.) Now for some reason I cant find my gameshark dongle anymore.Dont have a clue what happened to it . My No Solder ModChip has become useless.

How can I get past this Im asking yall. Would knife trick allow my ps2 to detect burnt ps2 games?

Or is it time for a new swap method disc?

    Them good old days http://www.modchip.com/ps2/v56pnporder.htm

your chip takes place of the knife so you still need some type of boot disc , you could get the swap magic . but if you are going to spend more $ why not just get a no swap chip like the duo2 , it goes for about the same price as those discs and is alot less pain to use .

^^Thx much. The DuoChip huh. I think ill just stick to swap discs. So yeah duo chip sounds great but no money. Maybe I jsut wait till xbox 360 drop and see what the smart people can do to make it able to run back ups.
