Hi all; I would like to convert all of my old vhs stuff to dvd. Here's what I have:

    WinXP Pro
    Abit KT7 motherboard
    512 mb ram
    Athlon 750 thunderbird
    nvidia tnt64 agp video
ati tv wonder capture card with coax, rca, and s-video inputs
    1 20gb hard drive (o.s.)
    1 60gb hard drive
    1 100gb hard drive
1 40gb hard drive (connected via usb; it's in an enclosure)
    Software I have:
    Adobe Premiere
    Tmpgenc
ATI media suite (came with the card and was updated to be compatible with WinXP)
    Virtual Dub
    DVD2AVI
    AVI2WAV
    Quicktime (full version)
    Soundforge 7
    DVD Maestro
and probably some others that I'm forgetting.

I've done tons of searching and haven't found anything specific to my capture card. Any suggestions?

    1. Connect the VCR to the capture card
    2. Fire up the capture software (i.e., VirtualDUB, Premier etc)
    3. Set compression, bitrate etc
    4. Capture
    5. Encode to DVD
    6. Burn
    7. CHECK CHECK CHECK :)
