Olympus SP-500

    I have the Olympus SP-500 digital and may want to purchase the optional telephoto lens--TCON-17. Before I purchase the lens, I wanted to know if anyone has used the lens and is it worth the $100.

    Any telephoto lens is better than no telephoto lens.
    I purchased one for my Sony 4 meg camera. It is great especially at football games. You may have to shoot at faster speed if you want everything in perfect focus.
