I didnt know what other topic to put this under but o well, my comp has recently had a problem and i cant open any .exe or .lnk, everything just shows up as that peice of paper with he folded corner, its really pissing me off to no ends, and i need some MAJOR help, its not a virus, its not spyware or anything like that, i dont know what the fusk it is, but its angering me till the point of no return, is there anyway to reset the registry for the .exe's so i can run them again?...or something like that, PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
Go into system restore and try restoring your system to an earlier checkpoint pick one when you know your system was definitely working fine. This may help. Good luck. Also be aware some programs which were installed after that checkpoint may need to be reinstalled.
