Hey guys, First off i wanna say thanks for all the great info and help on here. xbox was sitting in a closet for 3 years doing nothing and thanks to you guys i have my son play some cool old school games i enjoyed as a kid. ok so on to the question is there a way to burn neocdsdlx on a dvd and play off the dvd. i have tried several times putting making an iso with the game iso on it. but when i load the game it just returns to the dashboard. thanks in advance.
So i take it that neocdsdlx is an emulator your using. And there is a simple solution to what you need. If you don't already have it Download the program Quix, it makes your iso into an xbox iso. So Your xbox will read it. So just burn that to your dvd. And that should do it. Also if the emulator comes up and no games, you might have to edit the ini. file to read the games from the folder on the DVD!
thanks. well i tried magic iso with has an option to make a xbox iso. only it didnt load the emulator. would run even if i clicked on the xbe in the file manager. ill give quix a try. and the path in the ini is d:\isos\. what would you suggest i change it to. thanks for the help.
