Hi, I'm using the onboard ethernet controller built in to my motherboard. I've had no problems with it but I've come to realise I've got a near new realtek ethernet NIC boxed away in the cupboard and almost forgotten about.
Is there anything to be gained by installing it and disabling the onboard?

Onboard networking is fine, stick with it.
