Why is it when I copy files (data) from one computer and try to read it at my home computer (Windows ME) it won't acknowledge it has any files to read! It says in Nero and other CD Burn programs that it is NOT blank but won't read what is on it! It's driving me mad!

I had a similar problem. Did you burn using a program or did you just drag and drop? I think you will encounter problems if you do the latter if you want other drives to read the data on the disc.

Most likely if you burn using a program instead of dragging and dropping you should have no probs...

    Just my opinion.

Also, some cd drives have difficulty reading fancy RW discs. By fancy i mean the highspeed (10x/12x) 700MB discs.

Be sure that your using the latest UDF Reader from the Nero website installed on both pc's. I don't use packet writing software as they are a pain in the arse (literally). Note to always close the cd when you wan't to transfer the files on that cdrw.

    Shoey :)
