Thanks to these forums and all you peep's guides I was able to back up and play my PS2 games without a hitch! I got the Swap Magic 3.6 and the slide tool, DVD Decryptor, Maxell media and viola! Madden o6 and Burnout Revenge worked perfect to start. My biggest surprise was when I came by a guide to burn the SNES Station onto DVD. It took me two tries but i was playing Super Metroid and Secret of Mana on my PS2 last night. Now all I gotta do is get the Flip Top case and I will be complete. Thanks again to everyone! Afterdawn is the shiznit.

Any chance you could PM a link to get this SNES station?

Is it possible to play NES games on a PS2?

EDIT : Nevermind I found this site http://www.zophar.net/consoles/ps2.html It has all different emulators that work with the PS2.

So my question is this, do I burn the emulator and the roms onto the same disc?

I also have a ish load of sega roms that I was wondering if it's possible to do the same. Golden Axe Kicks Ass. Oh yeah and if you know how about GBA roms?

there are a million and one tutorials on the net.....they are actually hard to make so I'd get ready to make some coasters. I have a Snes, megadrive, mastersystem, gamegear, sinclair, mame and nes emulators working on my ps2. They all rock! If Im not playing Pro Evo 5 Im playing on an emulator ;-)

These are the simple steps i followed:

Download SNES Station, extraxt the files you should have SNES Station ELF and a System CNF File.

Open NERO. I used 6.3.0.2 Version.

Open New DVD Project, Choose "DVD UDF/ISO" option. Click the UDF tab and select "Physical Partition" for UDF Partition type and "UDF 1.02" for File system version.

Drag in your SNES Station files, the elf. and CNF. file.

Create a folder for your SNES ROMS. Drag in your ROMS to the folder. Make sure to have more than 10. I tried 25 but only 15 worked so Im not sure why. Roms with the SMF file extension seemed to work better but i dont know why. I would just throw in 20 or 30 or so to test it out. I first dragged in over 200 roms but it didnt work so i tried less and it worked fine.

Now burn the SNES Station files and your folder of Roms to a DVD and play it like you would any backup. It worked for me on my second try. Let me know if anyone has a question.

Thanx alot backohead for the info. I am unable to give it a go cuz I am out of media and waiting to get me some Taio Yuden's. So when I they arrive I'll post and let you know how it's going. Hey binns I was wondering that maybe if you got some links to any of the million and one tutorials that you might post them. It would help me out a great a deal considering the fact that I spent a couple of hours looking for emulation and roms backup tutorials on the net but to no avail. I mean don't get me wrong I found a few but I'm a noob and the ling was confusing me a bit. So if you would post some links that would pretty damn cool of you. Thanx in advance.

It cant be that simple backohead if only 10 games work! My snes emulator has hundreds of games working on the same disc. You could always put folders in the root Roms folder. I suggest doing alphabetical folders ;-)
