I have 2 more questions and then that should be all I need help with. The first, and probably the most hardest, I have a dvd that was recorded from a telvision station. As i'm sure most of you all know, they always have those little pop ups while airing shows or movies in the bottom of the screen usually advertising the stations, like CBS or NBC and so on. Anyhow, I got to thinking, would there be a way to make those logos disappear? I doubt that there is a way but I thought I would go ahead and ask. It seems like with all the technology we have available there would be a way to do this

I don't think you'll ever get rid of the pop ups, as they are transmitted with the picture, so your TV, recorder etc... will just see the logo as part of the overall picture.

There are some software programs available that get rid of the Logo but they are not that good. They scrub the logo area and try and fill the area with similar surrounding material and background. Not very succesful yet at solving a very annoying problem. I also understand you can burn in that logo on plasma screen TVs.
