One of the many Vista problems... I can't get the burnt/mounted DVD of the game to work

    I need help. I've mounted it using PowerISO and I've burned it to a DVD-RW... Still Vista says that it isn't the real disk and thus, won't load. I double click on the crack and it starts to load then it crashes (just before you can click on "play").
    The Game is KOTOR II: The Sith Lords.

    Also, could someone explain cracks to me. I am a nube.

    There are NoCD cracks for games or YASU for hiding the drive.
    Most burnt games will not run off the CD.

    NoCD cracks replace an exe file in the games directory.

    Each game has a different approach to being cracked.
