Hi I think im in the right forum, My aunt has a CD with some old songs on it that was recorded from vinyl what im looking for is a peice of software that will split the CD up into indivual tracks, I have Nero 7 and running Vista Home premium. Thanks in advance
google would have told you about audacity to rip the cd (and wav is the easiest format to work with lossless.. try dbpoweramp (freeware as well)
what??.. cda is the cdaudio format ONLY found on audio cd's.. just use the dbpoweramp ripper to rip the disk to wav... you might have to burn it first, or mount it.. though that's doubtful because you say it's a cd.. what do you have?.. a physical cd or a large cda file? dbpoweramp cd input.. strewth.. don't people ever look at programs they are pointed at before whining on about "it doesn't work" solved.. mods can close.. I use these apps every day in the shop to do exactly this process..
Robbiel, you need to follow directions. If you ripped to a wave file as directed you couldn't have cda files. cdas are what is on the CD. You rip CDs to avoid that format. Poweramp may convert cda to wave. Wave files are the only editable files. Trying to edit any other type of file is ignorant.
