Hi, I've been out of the PS2 modding loop for years, and a friend asked me a question I couldn't answer.

How does playing online with a mod chip work?
-If I have a mod chip but use a real disc, what happens? (I need to turn off the mod chip first by holding X or something, right?)
-My real disc is severely scratched (stupid kids), but I do have the back up. What can I do to make the back up work online?

You may not need dvd decrypter the guy that made that program had to make changes due to threat of legal issues so now it's been renamed imgburn, except the decrypting part is removed, what you can do if needed is install dvd decryp then install imgburn after,by rights imgburn will detect dvd decryp & replace the burning part of it as the default burner for it,essentially imgburn is the same you'll recognise it when using it
