If we softmod our Wii does it remove the playability of games Wifi. Can you have your Wii connected via lan adapter connected to a network hub then connected to the router? or should it be directly to the router.
First, I hope you're using a switch and not a hub. Yes you can have it connected to a "switch" then to the router. Yes you can play online with the softmod.
Either way ,you can connect directedly to the router (wired or wireless/WIFI) or if you don'[t have enought port on the router(wired) you can used either HUB or switch does NOT matter. The router will be the one giving you the IP and connected to the internet. If you used the WIFI It is much better to set to MANUAL rather than AUTO(setting the IP). "A hub shares the total bandwidth among all users, while a switch provides a dedicated line at full bandwidth between every two devices (or more) inside the same network transmitting to each other".
