Hi, im a new user of the open ps2 loader and lately i was trying to install it into my ps2 memory card where i already had installed FREE MCBOOT 1.8 in it.I was trying to play games from my PC's hard drive with the lan network, everything is settled so far with IP addresses, with straight through ethernet cables, with a switch, only the OPS2L wont like i've seen on youtube videos.
I followed the guides how to get OPS2L via uLaunch elf into the boot folder of the Memory card. So after doing all that stuff (copying-pasting the OPNPS2LD.ELF file from usb to mem card), i restarted the ps2, the free mcboot menu came up, but no open PS2 loader???? Then after i read the guide lines again i could get the open ps2 loader .ELF "manually" on the FMCBoot menu added, using uLaunch. After restarting the ps2 again i go to the OPEN PS2 LOADER (from the FMCBoot menu), then it boots up, then i just get a blank blue screen and in the middle i just have some configuration options like:"settings, Display settings, network settings etc..." But not the actual interface of the OPS2L program where those big icons are and from wherei can start a game from the network options, u know what i mean guys...

I have this stuffs so far:

    PS2 Slim Modded
    uLaunch ELF CD
USB 8 GB made from Lexar
Exploited PS2 Memory Card with Free MCBoot
Windows XP desktop already configured the ip's and the ps2 ip's for "over lan" play

All of the programs and tuts i got it as a big package from some guy gamedexterity i guess but im not sure.

I just dont know what im doing wrong. Please Help guys!!! Thank You!!!

looks like you just need to go into the settings and turn on which device you wish to use to play games from such as HDD or USB i was sitting there for a few mins when I relized this if your using a usb then turn on usb then go back to the blue screen and start the device up by hitting x.
