Hi there. So firstly, my xbox has old ixtreme flashing (can run only wave 2 games) as i bought it i was easily able to play wave 4 games, i patched them with 360 wave patcher burned them and played them well! Now after a while i decided to play newer games (wave 6 etc) and I Can't burn any of those new games righ! The only one WAVE 6 game i was able to burn and play was UFC Undisputed 2010. any other games says Open Tray. What should I do ? Wasted about 8 verbatims. Using IMGBurn. what could suddenly happen ? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP! THANX!!!! P.S. I tried now with wave 4 games and even wave 2 games. nothing works. what could it be ? older burns runs perfectly, so I dont think there is a problem with my xbox
The open tray error usually means that there is a problem with the DVD-ROM's laser. I see that you're using good media. Do the old burns work consistently, or is it most of the time? Sound like you need to get a new drive and spoof the key. It would be nice to upgrade the firmware while you're at it so you don't have to wave patch. What dvd drive is in your 360?
drive in my 360 is Phillips (not sure Benq or lite-on) well old burns work perfectly, few times got dirty disk error, but i cleaned them and they worked fine.(cause they were really dusty) so i could say that old burns run perfect! or do You think it's the drives fault ? every old burn as well as licensed games run perfectly! just for the record: Yesterday i played modern warfare 2 (old burn) about 5 hours with no errors.
