Hi, I recently acquired one of these, anyone got or know where I can get a working XML guide for one of these? Also, anyone know if I can record onto a usb stick and if so, can I only record stuff I'm watching?
Hi Skinbooks. I also have an openbox, closest thing that i have found is a channel list, basically you place it on a usb drive and select usb update from the settings menu. There is some pretty good information on ajsat about the process etc. In regards to the recording, if your box has 2 coax ports then you will be able to record one channel and watch another, its pretty straight forward to be honest, just make sure to format the drive to Fat 32. What is the quality of your service like, glitching and freezing etc?
The box has two coax ports afaik. Is the channel list similar to the favourites feature already set up on the box? As far as the channels go they're not too bad I think? I get the odd scrambled message from time to time and a few of the channels are invalid for some reason.
