well im trying to play online but an error comes up saying that port 3658 needs to be opened or sumthin like that. now how do i open ports on my adsl modem (speedstream 4200)so i can get online with burnout revenge??? i need help basically step by step guide to set this up as ive never opened any ports before...Any help will be very grateful,and thanx in advanced
Hmm maybe I can help, I'm in computer school... first I need to know your configuration, you know like, your PS2 is behind a router or connected to your pc directly... those details, most standard thing would be opening the port in your pc's firewall or configuring your router in your pc with the router software... just set it to allow external connections on the port needed... but keep me posted... Basically what I need is: - Your hardware + connections (The playstation's connected to the... router, the router's connected to the... something like that) - Your firewall software, if thats whats in between the Internet and your PS2, I'll solve your problems in a flash... *Did you receive the network CD from Sony? You know to activate Online play...

hey guys i got a problem i got B.O.R and well its not working its still asking me for the 3658 is not open on your firewall i have bell sympatico wireless router 6520 speed stream... i have not called bell yet but i am going to but i know they know nothin.. so can anyone help me i have done everthing i wish there was on al routers to disable firewalls to make it easyer.. well get back to me asap ok thanks
