Opinions r/e software and copying dvd

I recently copied my first dvd but have no idea if the software i used is the best suited for the process

1. dvdfab decrypter for the ripping
2. dvdshrink for the compression
3. imgburn for the burning

Is there a better way? Add'ly i noticed that when i used the pan and scan option on windvd, the disk paused every few seconds...is this a setting problem and if so in what program...thanks and i need help...

 

that combo will work BUT if you want something really simply try clonedvd2 with anydvd this combo alone will do any movie out there and is very easy to use ,theres a 21 day free trial so download and try it,heres a link

remember to use good media (Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim) and burn at 4x
