Hello, in the last two years I made lots of experiences with video/audio editing and professional DVD authoring. I like it really very much, because it is a nice creative process. So I want to make it a profession. My question to the video professionals reading this forum is: Do you have any hints of what kind of jobs I can do with these skills? Does it make sense to start a career at TV broadcasters? Any help is really very appreciated! Regards, Konran
Well the Chances you will Find a Job with the experience you have is Next to Nill...If you really want to get into the Business you should go to School and Get a Degree or Diploma in Video editing or Video engineering or Broadcasting School..... I got a 4 Year Degree in 3 Years at Broadcasting school and it took me well over a Year and I had to Move over 2000 miles to Finally get a Job in the Industry and even that isn"t very steady as most of it is Contract work..... You could Try starting a Small Business Doing Maybe something Like editing Weddings and Graduations for Poeple and maybe You could also Do Analogue To Digital conversions for Poeple who for instance has a Lot of Old Analogue Material that they want to Convert to DVD before it deteriorates... That is Basicly what I do when i am not working in the Studio and I also Build and sell and repair computers..... Good Luck PS: Most Big Universities have Audio Video/Broadcasting Cources which would help you Learn what you need to Know to work in the Industry and will help you get a job in the Industry.....
