I am trying to figure this one out...companies such as Rogue Software are allowed to continue sending out virues and spyware via trojans. The government knows where they are located, who owns them, what bank accounts they use. However, they are allowed to keep spreading viruses and spyware arround. At the same time, the government makes me remove home videos from youtube because 20 seconds of a song can be half-heard in the background. Intentionaly attack & rob people: That's just fine Listen to music you purchased while at a party: Piracy Spend $10,000,000 on a missle to destroy a $500 hovel: YES WE WILL Spend $500,000 on investigations to shut down virus makers causing billions in damage: YES WE CAN, BUT NO WE WON'T
I just read the FBI warning from a DVD...it seems that is is piracy to watch a movie with friends. You are also not allowed to watch in a car, RV, park bench, etc...only "Private Home Use" is allowed. I wonder if "private" use means you must take off your clothing, or if you just can't watch with friends? I'll admit it...I am a pirate; I watched a movie with a friend in an apartment last week (while wearing clothes)...that is breaking the law twice, maybe three times. Any other pirates out there?
They make it like each person should own a copy, then its ok. I guess I am a pirate also. This has gotten out of hand, if you ask me. They are going way overboard.
Thee worlds gone crazy. As for me, Im thoroughly enjoying watching the new batman stark naked in private with no windows. What a world we livee in aye!
Something about watching a man dressed in leather in plastic while in the nude seems a bit odd...but whatever turns you on.
LMAO..ok that was funny..haha..but seriously.."they" just can't make as much money from tracking down/fining virus creators as much as they can from pirates..it's all about money and intellectual rights..but once you buy it..it isn't really yours..i mean i didn't just spend $15-$20 on a cd or $5-$30 on movie, just to rent it, till it gets scratched/broken/lost..did i?!?
...Or at best, you are renting until the next format comes around and the whole collection is obsolite...I think that will be my DVD collection in about a year, and it is only a matter of time before people stop buying 2ch cds in favor of Dolby quality downloads.
I watched a a film yesterday with 3 mates so that makes me no.1 on the FBI's Most Wanted list biatch!
