I am having trouble with lag while playing Tekken 5 online. I have open the ports on the PSN as well as DMZ the router but still am experiencing a lot of lag. I have read that you can change the MAC address on the router to the PS3s MAC address but I do not know how to do this. Also I have read something about Qos and setting the PS3 in higher priority. Not sure what that means but I would love any help I can get with this two things in order to deal with this lag issue. One other thing I did not have any issues with lag when I had Directv and their modem which came equipped with a wireless router. I switched to Optimum(cablevision) service and was forced to buy a wireless router. I have been through a Linksys G and now on to the D-Link 4500 Game Router but am still having this lag problem. This may be the problem but i would like to try everything that I can before I settle into this possible fact.

    A couple of questions...

What is your DL/UP speeds and ping? (speedtest.net)

Are you using the PS3's wifi or a wireless gaming adapter?

Did you set the PS3 to a static IP? (I'm sure you did seeing as you opened your ports but I'm just wondering)

I too have a DGL4500 and have done the settings you have done as well. However, I'm not expiriencing the lag that you are. I gave up on the PS3's wifi (I'm not too happy with its performance) and bought a wireless N gaming adapter which is a WGA600N and I'm getting speeds off the playstation network as though I'm hardwired to a modem.
