Optiplex GX110 cpu upgrade

    Hi can anyone tell me what socket type the processor is for an Optiplex GX110? And how fast a processor can I use?

    Socket 370 - Pentium 3................

    Not sure how fast you can use, but not very fast as it is P3...........

    Try searching on Google or similar, you may even uncover some skeletons aswell.....................LOL

    supposedly upto a 1.3ghz if using a powerleap cpu upgrade. better of to spend money on a new tower or a bare bones system to use some parts off the old computer if worthwhile

    Thanx...for the replies - sounds as if a barebones base unit will be the choice dont fancy messing around too much!!
