I've been using the M3 and passkey2 to for a while now on a standard DS and a DS lite.

SO far, i've spotted that certain games, such as CONTACT work fine on the DS but wont even start on the DS lite.

I read on M3/passkey2 compatiablility charts that Ouendan and Brain age work fine on the standard DS , but neither boot with the recommended settings noted in the lists.. I'm sure there's many more games that have this problem, but havent the time to check 400 files.

are there any upgrades available to fix this issue?

I have two DS lites and some games run on one, but not on the other
(eg Tetris)! I use the same M3+Passkey set on both.

    Good question.

Ice blue one UJF 10291405 This is the one that seems to work
    with `all' roms.

White one UJF 10935258 Doesn't run Tetris, True Golf, Guilty Gear .....?

interesting, actually take a look at the "model number" below the nintendo logo 0 i don't know of that's different, mines USG-001, serial is UJH 10012288

so, the one that plays everything also plays contact/brain age ?

i'll try some more experiments with another DSL today/tomorrow.. strange how there's no info about this anywhere..

Model number is the same as yours.

Yes, my blue one plays Contact but the white one does not.

Changes in firmware may be to blame, and it's annoying.

    PS

Curiously, the white one plays Brain Age! ( as does the blue one)

Every DS game I have tried so far works perfectly with the Supercard SD and Passme 2 on y Navy DS Lite (Brain age, Tetris, New Super Mario etc...), maybe it is the M3 that's faulty or not up to date. I don't really know how the M3 works, but with the supercard you have to use SC software to convert the ROMS to one .dsq file and one .sav file for them to work.

nah its not the m3, i tried contact on my original ds, and it ran fine, the new ds lite doesnt start it...

as for mario, there is a WRG patched version available, but no ide where to get it... no idea if it works either..

do the M3/passkey people know about this incompatibilty issue?

I have now updated the firmware on the M3 to e19 and
now things seem to run OK on my later (?) lite.

so would you say that it is a firmware issue that could resolved in the future or no ...
