I have a MKV file that has 2 audio tracks. So I used MKVextract to extract the video and audio I wanted. However when I merge the file with the audio the audio when playing is out of sync.

I read that besweet is good to use. However when I use it I get out of sync errors and the file is messed up. Anything I am doing wrong that makes the muxing out of sync?

Since no one seems to know, ill post what I found out.

using MKVExtract wsa causing the audio to go out of sync everytime. Just extracting the audio to the AAC did it. I tested this by the time framing the original sound and the extracted sound. It was off by about 2 seconds and gradually got worse.

Instead I used the merger gui. You can open the file directly and merge the files checking the same files you would use to extract. The audio came out fine. For those that wish to not use extract or have the same problem.

Still having problems though. I tried opening the new mkv in tmpgenc and it says unsupported. I tried converting it to avi/ogg with riverpast and the audio doesn't carry over. Just the video. I tried virtualdubmod to avi and same problem, no audio.

I am at a loss as to how I can now convert these to dvd :/. Any help is appreiciated please.
