well first you do not touch the winRAR files if you don't have winrar. and i think it should already be in ISO format?

and its normal if it doesnt go to 0%, just wait a few mins and then turn off your psp.

No cso is the smallest unless you want to change the compression level.

Im running Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-3. I'm having trouble opening the USB program and end up with a "The game could not be started (80020148)" message. Any suggestions?

(EDIT) My apologies I did not read the information regarding the how I can change to view the UMD disc instead of the Memory Stick.

Haha, no it won't brick your psp, because it doesnt mess with the flash files and stuff. and you cant do it with official firmware. only with custom. :]

This doesn't seem to be working for me.

I'm using my downgraded PSP on fw 1.50.
When I run the app and choose the first option (as the guide says) a new drive appears on my PC but it just shows the contents of my memory stick instead of a single ISO file.

I've tried several different games and have the same problem.
My memory stick has has a capacity of 2GB but at the moment it has 160 MB free.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Try another option, until you can see a single .iso file. Normally the first option should be fine...

Every option I've tried just brings up the contents of my memory stick.

Yep tried two different ones and had the same result.
I noticed that the disc isn't even accessed (don't hear it spinning) when I select one of the options.

Does the UMD run itself in like an actual game?

Do you mean when I run USBSSS? Because it does't run at all while I use the app.
