    Hi there,

Wonder if anyone can help? I am running outlook 2007 on 3 PC's. I am looking to set outlook up so I can access the same email account off of all 3 PC's. Can this be done and if so can anyone help me with it?

    Cheers

    Yes it can be done.

Once you have outlook installed on your 3 pc's, just enter the same details into the required fields and it will work no problem.

The only thing is, if you check your mail on "pc1" the mail that you receive will be stored on that pc, then if you check your mail again later on "pc2" the mail that you then receive will be stored on pc2 only ect...

To set up outlook 2007, open up outlook go to tools/options/mail setup/email accounts/new/

Then follow onscreen instructions... put your mail provider as your incoming mail server, and put ISP as your outgoing mail server. You might have to ring your ISP for their details.

But thats it really, once you have your settings saved outlook will be working on all your pc's.

There is no way that I know of saving the mails on all 3. I know it can be a pain as I've outlook running on 2 pc's and like that sometimes I do be looking for a mail and remember then that I saved it on my other pc.
The only thing to do then is actully log into your original mail account and get the mail you require.

If there is a way I'd love to hear also but as you said there is no easy work around on this as far as I know.

Ok, just one other quick thing. If somebody send/rec emails at one time and then I do it later. I will only get the ones from later not the other ones???

    Cheers again.

I don't really get your question but if someone sends you a mail now and you receive it on pc1. And then later on you log into pc2 and hit the send/receive button you won't receive anything as you already received the mail to pc1.

The only other way would be to setup a webmail account like gmail and input those settings onto all three computers in outlook. When you send and recieve it will be like syncronising from your webmail account. Just means once a month you should cleanup and delete old mail from your webmail before it gets clogged up.
