I personally don't use it. I don't need all the fancy features it has and there are way too many exploits for it. Mozilla Thunderbird does everything I need :)

Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer.

Basiaclly it is the default mail program most people use.

So basically if u dont want to use it, just delete the icon, eaiser then trying 2 uninstall it from IE.

I use it, mainly for the fact i have been using it for years, and i have it check all 9 Email accounts at once.

It really depends on what mail client you are using now, and personal preference.

Outlook isn't a bad email client as far as email goes, but from a security standpoint it is one of the most flawed and exploited. Since it is so tightly integrated with IE many of the IE exploits and bugs affect it too.

Personally I have used Eudora since 1994 and in 10 years I have only heard of a single exploit for it, and that was quickly patched.

LookOut Express is probably the last client I would want to run. Mozilla and Opera both have email clients, or Eudora is a standalone mail program. I would use any of those 3 before Outlook.

I have been using OE for years and never had a problem, basically as long as you keep up with Windows Updates you shouldnt have a problem.

    But i find it fine

I tried Eudora once aswell.... didnt like the GUI mainly.

The Technical side of it is good, but the GUI is lacking heaps...
