OUTLOOK EXPRESS

    I HAVE LOOKED AND LOOKED AND I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO SAVE/BACKUP MY SENT LIST AND DRAFT LIST IN OE. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? DANALMAC

    1:knock of the caps lock as is referred to shouting & against forum rules above.
    2: what windows are you using??

    with my eyes, i can see the letters better in caps. sorry! windows xp-oe 6. i'd like to save/backup my sent & draft list to an external drive. i can do this now piece meal but, time!! where are the folders so i can copy chunk by chunk instead of line by line. i burned up my mother board and processor from another tower and i do not want to repeat that loss. thanks for any help.

    Hey

    To backup OE folders open up my computer
    Then double click your C: then Documents and Settings -> YourUsername -> Local Settings -> Application Data -> Identities -> Random Numbers and letters eg {E37EBD06-10B1-4A60-83E9-D724C2AF701E} -> Microsoft -> Outlook Express -> Copy the apporiate DBX file

    Note: You may need to turn on Display hidden files by click on the Tools menu in My Computer, then folder options, the View tab then Show hidden files and folders.
