First of all, I have an image file of the game, (Daemon Tools Image). I got the game running and all that, but sometimes in the main menu screen I don't see the cars that I select and when I go into race, it loads, loads and loads and then freezes, - black screen. Though I was able to hear only sound, the game suddenly was terminated by "the program has encountered a problem which needs to be closed" when I pressed any key.

Alright, I tried CureRom, gave the actual .exe directory, then gave the Daemon Tools image file directory. Enabled all Daemon Tools options. It created a desktop shortcut, I launch it, the thing says waiting 3 seconds...... Daemon Tools command line appears, I click OK and ... nothing. Then I used a combination of "ASR" and CureRom. ASR is Securom Loader 1.2. Then the game launched, I was able to see some cars, but parts of them were missing. And, what I said in 1st paragpraph happened -- black screen.

I would like to not burn the game on a cd or dvd.
    Can you help?
    Thanks in advance.

Oh, I downloaded CureRom 1.22, but when I launch the program it says 1.3.1. ... strange

    ~edit

""patch 1.1 doesn't work anymore with CureROM 2.0.1."" --> what are these patches everyone is talking about, I think it's the problem.
