overclocked this puppy to fsb 179,memory x125 gave me 222,ram 3,4,4,10.i cannot change the vcore to cpu stuck at 1.62 volts[i can lower cant increase,they say the board will not support it]i think they dont want to blow the board up.and my mutiplier is a 12.5.how can i mod the power supply to crank 1.7 or 1.8 volts to the cpu.i ran 3dmark5 it will run through the video test fine,when they start the cpu test it freeze or it will come up error had to shut 3dmark down because of some temp file.i think cause the cpu needs more power am i right? not sure .please help id like to game on this puppy at this speed if i could.also the bios came with a agp volt controli set at 2.7 and dram vc i set at 1.7.are they fine? or too high
try running the cpu test at stock setting rathan than overclocked ones to be honest it wont make a huge difference in games anyway and there is no way to mod your power supply to allow that its either suported in your bios or it isnt. The only option is to find a modified bios or wait for one which is released to allow this option.
thanks,i wasnt sure if you could or not,but it will run 3dmark alittle faster stock 5000 overclockedpc and video 5600.so what ever that means probably 1 frame per second faster.[lol]
