    hi guys
i want to overclock my AGP ATI Radeon X850XT, but i m too afraid
    i'll break it or something
i have athlon 64 2800+ ,1gb memory, Thermaltake 420w (if this is needed)
    so defaults r:
    520mh for core clock
    1080mh for memory clock
that would be my first time, so i m afraid and dunno if i need to do it.
i know ATI Tool is a good overclock software
but what about ATI overdrive in CATALYST control center (came with vc)
so please anyone should i do it or not?
    help plz

You would be better off doing some more research on "overclocking" before deciding to try it. If you afraid you will do something wrong then you probably shouldn't try it(in this case atleast).

    ok i did overclocking.
first i did it myself thru overdrive
    it froze 3 times
but then i found one when it didn't freeze but the temperature went to 70-80
    (3dmark03 score went from 9141 to 1205)
but then i found "Run automated clock configuration utility"
and it made 554/621 (but the max for memory was 615)
temperature not going more than 63, but the 3dmark03 score went only to 9175
why is that? is something wrong?

Ok, I'm trying to O/C my old Intel Celeron and I tried moving the jumper over so i can get more options at the bios but it only gives me one more option which is to clear all passwords.

Could you guys recommend some decent software to help me out?

Don't OverClock it too much, you'r computer will overheat..
Buy this here, it keep you'r computer from overheating. Go to TigerDirect.com, and buy a cooling fan.
    :)
