    Hello!

So I have pretty big problem in Starcraft II, it overheats in multiplayer, and when it overheats, whole computer turns power off, and it takes 5 to 10 minutes to turn it back on.

Sometimes overheating happens in 10 minutes, sometimes I can play 1 hour and no problems.

Overheats only in multiplayer, never overheated in singleplayer.

In most of settings game suggest me ultra, and I have tried to low these setups and no effect in overheating.

My computer fills all recommended system requirements, expect that I have Windows XP 32bit.
    I do have service pack 3 ( SP 3 ) in XP.

There are no way that Windows XP would overheat my computer.

I have tried some maxium torture tests of CPU, GPU and 45mins to 2 hours, and after 20 minutes temperatures are not rising and no overheating.

So Im sure that there are some bug in Starcraft 2.

    I also have put this:
to variables.txt, and checked FPS rate with Xfire and FPS never rises over 60 ( well sometimes 61 but only for like a 0,5 second )

Thanks for reading this! I hope you can help me.

I'll add more information if you ask for more, or if I remember something important.

NEW INFORMATION: ( I also add here my other posts in this thread so you dont have to try find my other messages )

    1. Oh, and I can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with no overheating, I have played it sometimes over 3 hours and no overheating.. and high graphics.

    My post:
    3. I also have tried to put most of settings to medium and few to low and still overheated.

NOTE: I copied this from other forum because didn't get answer from there.

I have added that FPS thing to variables.txt long time ago and didn't work.

I had noticed the article on MegaGames and thought it might help. I don't have and have never played either Starcraft I or II. It is strange that only one game causes your problem and not other intensive game(s) though.
